- I read this, and I almost regret it. What do you even do with the knowledge that Epstein wanted and was trying to engineer societal breakdown via far right populism bc he thought it would benefit his sex trafficking business?
- I read thousands of pages of Epstein files this weekend trying to understand what he wanted out of his meeting with 4chan's Christopher Poole. Here's everything we know about Epstein's plans to dismantle the internet and, eventually, democracy. www.garbageday.email/p/here-s-how...
- I don't know how to integrate this into my worldview without becoming a crank, or even more of a crank. I try very hard to remain a sensible, steady person always firmly in touch with reality but reality increasingly resembles a roller coaster during an earthquake.
- Making it make sense: Epstein wasn't a global mastermind. He did not orchestrate a vast conspiracy that led us to today. He was a very rich man with connections to other very rich men. The shared culture of these men is that they have a right to dominate and abuse others without consequence.
- These men hate the left, labor organizing, feminism, #metoo, and human rights movements because all of these are pushing for equality and accountability, presenting a threat to these men's ability to dominate and abuse with impunity.Feb 3, 2026 10:49
- This class of men, including Epstein, were naturally drawn to far right populism as a way to fight growing calls for accountability. They supported and inflated the far right wherever they could, and Epstein was part of it.
- There was no mastermind or grand scheme, but there was a successful effort by wealthy men, including Epstein, to destroy a status quo that they feared was trending towards greater accountability.
- I feel more grounded now. I hope this helps others who find it difficult to assimilate cartoon supervillains openly scheming to plunge the world into chaos into their understanding of world events without descending into conspiracy-style paranoia.
