- I'm directing this new show by Jo Pratt. Wonderful to meet the cast and production team last night. A great start to a powerful play.
- Rehearsal 1 of the Week - Complete! Last night we had the readthrough for 'This Blasted Place' - a powerful and timely new play by Jo Pratt. Tickets on sale for the performances at Queens Park Arts Centre very soon! #TellGreatStories
- Many thanks to the @bodleian.ox.ac.uk for inviting Helen Davidge and myself to perform scenes from Jane Austen’s Emma today. We’ll be back in October, performing excerpts from Georgette Heyer!

- Thank you! And don’t worry, we’ll keep being our marvellous selves! 🙂

- Many, many years ago I was nearly cast in a production of Godot, but Beckett and the rights stipulate that a woman can NOT play any of the roles.
- Watch closely and you can see a snippet of me performing “Scenes from Emma” at the Dress Up Day last summer. Catch me at the Bodleian Library tomorrow!
- Sometimes it feels selfish being an actor, existing for ‘entertainment’ when so much of the world is hurting. Art is important. Creativity is at the heart of humanity and can soothe the soul.
- Looking forward to donning the Regency outfit this Sunday playing Knightley in selected scenes from Jane Austen’s ‘Emma’ at the Bodleian Libraries, Oxford. The 20 minute free performance will be repeated at 12, 1 and 2pm. visit.bodleian.ox.ac.uk/event/2026/j...

- Here’s a photo of us together at Chawton.
- Yes! We've known each other for years, and she asked me to work with her on some dramatic scenes/readings for Austen's 250th anniversary to compliment her historical dance group. They were received well, so we're continuing this year. She's a wonderful Emma to play opposite.

- I had a wonderful summer performing these scenes at various places, including Jane Austen's house at Chawton. It's lovely to be back at it!

- Bicester? Milton Keynes? I’d suggest Aylesbury, but there are some reet dodgy actors round those parts…
- For any #AudioDrama creators out there. 👀

- Happy New Year! 2026 marks 30 years since I was in a small profit-share tour of Antigone, my first professional acting role. I played the eponymous doomed heroine, full of righteous indignation. And three decades on, I’m still here. Not bad, kiddo.
- What a joy and honour to have been part of this show. I’ve loved playing Scrooge so much, and, as an early Christmas present, it’s been announced that the production will return next year!
- "We know the story and the ending but Unbound know how to tell a story differently! Amazing production, great characters... loved it. Well done to cast and crew and Dario Knight for giving us his version... brilliant!"
- Another great review for our production of 'A Christmas Carol'! We've a single ticket left for tomorrow (23 Dec) night's show, which closes with a Christmas Eve matinee. Don't leave it too late to see this very special show! Tickets: tickets.queensparkarts.com/event/763:353/ #TellGreatStories
- ALT TEXT: "I absolutely loved it. It was magical, mysterious, haunting and poignant all wrapped up in a suitably Christmas spirit or two with brilliant stage production, brilliant characterisation and fabulous storytelling! Go see it!"
- What a superb opening night for the cast and crew of 'A Christmas Carol'. The feedback from our first audience has blown us away. Best of all? We get to do it all again tonight (19 Dec)! #TellGreatStories (1/2)
- This show has been pure joy to work on from start to finish, and I am incredibly grateful for being entrusted with the role of Scrooge. Please do come along if you can and get into the festive 'spirit'! Tickets still available, but are going fast tickets.queensparkarts.com/event/763:35...

- "Have you been in EastEnders?" Followed by the look that they don't believe what I do, because I'm obviously not a real actor because I haven't been on the telly...
- I will be playing Scrooge in a brand new adaptation of A CHRISTMAS CAROL with @unboundtheatre.bsky.social. This show will warm your heart, as well as providing a few scares, as every good Christmas ghost story should! tickets.queensparkarts.com/event/763:35...

- Does this mean I need to start posting more perimenopausal brain farts, such as the time I forgot the word for "fridge", and described it as the "cold cave"....

- In trying to think of the word, my brain reverted to some historical method of food storage! 🤣
- A powerful piece of theatre, shining a light on the story of a woman largely forgotten to history. While the trial sensationalised the perpetrator and pushed forward new technologies of communication and forensics, the victim became a footnote. We hope to bring back a little justice for her.
- Looking for something to cosy up with on these cold autumnal nights? Ms Shipton's Travelling Teashop from @localfiles.club and @oldermodal.bsky.social is a micro audio fiction about a tea witch and the stories that emerge with her brews. And there's a cat. www.theend.fyi/shows/ms-shi...
- In 1845, a murderer was arrested due to a new technology in its infancy. The trial became sensational, argued by the "celebrity" lawyers of the day and the murderer became infamous. The victim's name slipped away as a footnote in history. Until now.
- Don't miss 'Apple Pips' - a brand new play inspired by a real-life Buckinghamshire true crime story. Performances at Queens Park Arts Centre on 21-22 Nov. Part of this year's @bucksarchives.bsky.social Buckinghamshire History Festival. tickets.queensparkarts.com/event/763:365/ #TellGreatStories

- I, of course, will be playing M - fusing the acting styles of Tamsin Grieg, Emma Thompson and Judi Dench, with all the elegance of Cate Blanchett and Gillian Anderson.
- M: Send him in, Moneypenny. 007: I'm - M: I know who you are. You're Cmmdr James Bond, 007. Your papers are on the desk. How do you like vodka martinis? 007: Never been a fan. M: Well, you are now. Shaken, not stirred, remember.
- One of the highlights for me yesterday at the @audiodramahub.bsky.social #Hubfest was listening to actors give amazing cold read performances during my workshop. An utter joy to hear people being brilliant with their characters. Thank you so much to everyone who came along!

- I’ve joined the cast as the trial Prosecutor and other characters in this incredible play by Dario Knight. When the perpetrator becomes infamous, who will give voice to the victim? #ApplePipsPlay
