- When I was young and foolish I feared that one day a charismatic figure who was a transphobe but otherwise great would rise and split us from our allies. But nope. Turns out transphobia is a shockingly accurate test for being across-the-board one of the worst people on earth.

- Reposted by Elly BangsSo an odd thing here is that if you say "an unidentified man dressed in a Batman costume" your point is to communicate "it is not really Batman" but the problem is that the real Batman, within the fiction of the comic book "Batman", is also, literally, an unidentified man dressed in a Batman costume

- Reposted by Elly BangsI am doing my best to respond to this without a string of expletives. But let's be very clear. What just happened in Minnesota was cold blooded murder of a civilian by out of control federal agents, aided and abetted by the entire Trump administration and their fascist enablers.

- It comes to mind often these days that forgiveness only requires that you set aside your grudges and try to build some kind of good will. It does not entail reverting your opinion of someone to the one you might have held before they did harm.
- If you can, show some rent support to Minneapolis immigrant communities where folks have lost work and been unable to leave their homes due to ICE's terrorism.
- Reposted by Elly BangsAnother question I came here with was: how effective are the whistles and honking? Does it stop abductions? And the answer is, surprisingly to my cynical self, yes, and often. I have talked to so many people who have successfully interrupted kidnappings.
