- #BlackHistoryMonth 3/28 𝑺𝒉𝒊𝒓𝒍𝒆𝒚 𝑪𝒉𝒊𝒔𝒉𝒐𝒍𝒎 (1924-2005) became the first Black woman elected to the United States Congress and represented New York's 12th congressional district for 7 terms. She helped to create the Special Supplemental Nutrition Program for Women, Infants, and Children (WIC).
