i think i’ve landed on not loving when ppl treat ed’s kraken era like part of a pattern of behavior, bc i think that was p obviously him uniquely completely off the deep end. he spent more actual time in his not killing w his own hands era,
the kraken is him very on purpose being what he thinks is the worst version of himself he can be, lowkey hoping to get put down like a bad dog. most of the time, i think he cares more, even if he doesn’t know ho to express it
he just has may other problematic patterns of behavior to explore besides straight up domestic violence. but also i could say the same thing to the showrunner lmao
