- 2025 has been a fucking ridiculous year, so many ups and downs it's hard to even keep track. Did a ton of stuff, made friends, lost friends, traveled all over the west coast, wrote a lot, read a lot. I haven't had a break for the past three or four months until this last week.
- New Developments Book 2 Chapter 2: In Community With Each Other is up for reading!

- i've been every one of these with different projects but Chaotic Plotter the most consistently. i like to have a well-structured narrative, but i write the scenes out of order as inspiration comes to me, often interrupting whatever else i was supposed to have been doing.
- Q1: Since we're talking about plot, we figured it would be fun to see how you plot! Based on this nifty chart, what is your plotting/writing style alignment? #WeeknightWriters
- been busy nearly nonstop for 2 months, things are finally letting up just in time for me to come online and see the coast guard firing live ammunition in my local area.

- this really puts me in a particular time and place but the first thing that came to mind was MC Ride
- one of the big differences between different scenes seems to be whether or not people think anarchists have jester's privilege

- my ex visited a spencer's for the first time and she was like, "I understand you a lot better now. You're like a human version of a Spencer's." not sure how to take that lol

- reading First Law and it's fun so far but i really wanna find some good dark fantasy with the same kind of 'doomed world' vibe as Berserk and soulsbourne games. the closest thing i've found yet is some Clark Ashton Smith and some Moorcock. any recommendations?

- Reposted by Anemone MossIt's pretty wild to me that investigators have uncovered that anti-trans campaigns are largely funded by the fossil fuel industry, and that the presumed motivations are pretty directly to redirect the public conversation away from climate change... and that this isn't bigger news.

- trumpism was promoted and supported by people who claimed to want to stop government tyranny and overreach. just absolutely played these racist bastards and they've abandoned all their principles.
- so this kind of weird behind the scenes maneuvering to keep trans women away from friends and positions of influence is something that happens at every level of society, including your local lgbt center. if you've ever wondered why so many trans women are so high strung.

- Reposted by Anemone MossI think some people are also scared to explore outside mainstream art because they might encounter something they fall in love with, but no one they know likes it. They don't want to be embarrassed or cringe or whatever by being the outsider.

- Reposted by Anemone Moss"Who would have predicted this?" - Black women did. - Trans people did. - The *entire* disability community did. - The anarchists did. - Post-Evangelicals did. "Well why didn't I hear them." You did. But you disregarded us as "extremists" and "alarmists". And you are still calling us that.
- Reposted by Anemone MossThe government is rounding people up and putting them into camps and nobody is talking about it as political violence Moreover, ICE must be destroyed

- please actually listen to people with a history of activism in the united states. if you put your name on a list you don't know what that list will be used for in the future. things like this have absolutely already been used to target people. in 2011, in 2014, in 2017, in 2020, in 2023.

- worth noting that in this document they use "trans genocide" as an example of a terrorist phrase. as in, we will be targeted if we name that we're being targeted.
- as hatred of trans people is ramping up framing us as a '''nihilistic death cult''' or whatever i have to remind you that there is nothing more life-affirming than a community of people willing to disrupt their whole world in order to live better lives.
- Benny Rose is such a great creepy story, fun like 80s horror while also genuinely scary. it's a perfect Halloween season read. i'm excited for the rest of these as well!

- if you're someone realizing that people you previously considered 'too radical' were actually right about some important shit, i'd really advise taking some time to look into what we've been saying beyond our pronouncements of doom.

- my life has settled into a rhythm of like 1-2 weeks where i can focus on my writing and 4-8 weeks of like extremely stressful being busy as hell while also getting ravaged by my physical disabilities and i have to say this is *not* conducive to being able to consistently produce good writing.
