- ⬇️ Evidence catching up with what we see out in the wild. I look after people who 20+ years ago had bariatric surgery & I can think of only one who has not put all the weight back on. If #NHS really wanted to reduce morbid obesity, investment should be in mental health, not GLP-1

- I agree with this @profdevisridhar.bsky.social we have malnourished patients eating 1/2 a MacMuffin breakfast or takeaway, Or drinking 1 pint of lager, not 3-4. GLP-1 may reduce weight and associated risk factors but it doesn’t improve nutrition & diet related disorders.

- Reposted by Dr Jo Maher NHS GPLet’s go back to 2010! We didn’t need cancer pathways as urgent referrals were seen in 2-3 weeks, routine in 2-3 months Recruitment was rising, jobs were good. It wasn’t perfect but in 4 decades of NHS work it was the best it had been THEN SOMETHING HAPPENED ….
