The embarrassing addendum to my last post is that the first kit I built…nearly five years ago was a bloody Tamiya Tiger I tank…brush painted & unweathered. It looks quite nice but it’s a Nazi war machine cliche and I can’t like it because of that…🤷♂️🤦♂️🥃

Yeah but it broke down a lot and they didn’t have that many of them…it’s a Nazi myth in many respects…I’d rather see them modelled as destroyed than anything else…🤷♂️
🤣 yes! You should have a go at modelling Capt John Gorman's Irish Guards' Sherman 'Ballyragget' - he famously was a 'sitting duck' to a Tiger II east of Cagny in July 1944 & calculated his only chance was to ram it before the turret turned towards him. Amazingly, he actually knocked it out...
