To pick a concrete example, video of the incident did not prevent the Feds from murdering Renee Good and Alex Pretti. What those videos did is immediately disprove the government's lies about them. Millions more people believe the truth than would believe it without the video.

What I would want is bodycams with a rule that all video from cams on the scene of an officer shooting must be released to the public within 48 hours.
And a destruction of evidence level of presumption against an officer’s testimony if a body cam was not recording during an incident
