- Mulling over how feasible it would be to create a Flash clone. And why none of the alternatives are sufficient replacements. My guess is it all comes down to the scripting, which I'm not aware of is possible anywhere else. Creating a Vector Editor that doesn't suck sounds fun, but won't be enough.

View full threadThis change is meant to address the difficulty, making it more approachable for new players, while still keeping you on the edge constantly. You're still always only one mistake away from death. Also parrying is just cool.
- Making the changes not apply to old dailies causes the code to become more complicated, sure. But I think it's worth it. And these changes will continue, until I'm happy with where the game is at, or the code has become an unmaintainable mess. Whatever comes first.

- Heute schon mehrfach im Radio gehört, wie die "Regierung" den "Kampf gegen Linksextremismus" verschärfen will und wenn einer von diesen Polit-Pfosten heute irendwas von "Nie wieder" erzählt, vergesse ich mich. Erinnert ihr euch noch an die Million-Euro-Auslobung zu Hinweisen in Sachen NSU-Morde?

- Democratic politicians have, though, pursued growth in GDP at the expense of other values. One response to @jburnmurdoch.ft.com pessimistic scenario is refocus on those values, combined with egalitarianism, sufficiency and quality of life. Not "it's the economy, stupid" but "it's the the society"
- TR-49 is our best launch, ever, in 14 years. I admit I'm surprised! Made in 9 months, mostly as an experiment to learn Godot, and an excuse to play with some actors. (And for me to do some acting.) One thing I think IS cool: it's a "one-sitting" game. 4 hours; $7. No commitment required.

- Der Sohn von Freunden ist für 1 Jahr Highschool im 🇺🇲MidWest. In jeder Klasse fehlen inzwischen 3-5 Schüler mit lateinamerikanischen Wurzeln, 100 in der ganzen Schule. Von einigen weiss man, das sie sich verstecken, andere sind nicht mehr erreichbar. Niemand spricht darüber. Alle haben Angst.

- Ich glaube, viele Leute unterschätzen das Ausmaß der aktuellen Medienkrise. Ich sage es immer wieder: Entweder wir finden rasch Wege, Qualitätsmedien ordentlich zu finanzieren, oder wir werden die Demokratie nicht halten können. Guter Journalismus ist systemrelevant und wahnsinnig unterbezahlt.
