- Japan has many volcanoes. Due to past accidents, access to active ones is often restricted. This photo, taken at Mount Aso, shows a rare volcano with fewer access limits where activity can be seen up close. It’s my most meaningful photo of the year. Did you take any memorable photos this year?

- Source of the Ancients During my November outings, I embarked on a journey to photograph a centenary tree I’d heard so much about. As fate would have it, I lost the trail and found myself wandering through a dense, enchanting forest.

- A lone tree in winter This tree, devoid of foliage, represents persistence in the face of the severe season, braving icy winds and frigid temperatures. While most plants lie inactive beneath the snow, this tree holds firm, quietly anticipating the arrival of spring.
- A beautiful waterfall from Oregon On a very high flow during spring 💦 #nature #photography #pnw #waterfall

- Good morning! A PNW classic for fall colors. After changing my handle to my own website it looks like engagement and activity has gone down a lot. If you like this image, please repost it if you don’t mind. I need to rebuild my momentum that got affected by the handle name change. Thank you!

- Autumn in Japan🍁
- Always, always taken lowest size. My shitty brain had never realized it. Could be good images if I realized earlier.
- As the weekend approaches, bringing high humidity and a biting chill, I can’t take my eyes off the weather forecast. Frost-covered trees always excite me. Once again, the cold yet thrilling winter season is about to begin.
- 冬のはじまり Beginning of Winter As the first chill of the season sets in, marking the beginning of winter, the natural world around us begins its transformation. Trees, once vibrant with autumn colors, now stand bare, their branches silhouetted against the cold, gray sky.
- Chasing waterfalls in winter. 🥶 #nature #photography #winter #waterfall 3 are from the Pacific Northwest, one from Iceland 🇮🇸

- Wonderful Winter Collection Harsh and cold winters make it hard to step outside, but when I witness a scene like this, I feel so exhilarated that I forget about the cold entirely.
- Winter has officially begun in Japan.
- I love the contrast of blue and yellow created by the autumn leaves and fog. In cold regions of Japan, autumn is ending and winter is beginning. How about in your country?
