Things that happened at Basingstoke:
* Roughly 500 extra people were let in, making the building dangerously overcrowded
* Armed police turned up because people were allowed in with realistic weapons
* Celeb guests straight up left because there was insufficient security
Aug 20, 2025 07:55trying to find the words for that weekend.while some of us still had lots of fun (outside of the venue mostly) it was a hazardous shit show and it’s very lucky no one got seriously hurt. the intimacy of it was unintentional, they didn’t pay minders, didn’t have enough staff.the celebs were troupers
