haskell is also pretty neat
really, we should all just go back to perl. especially now that we're moving towards a future where most of our code will be written and modified by machines anyway.
As someone who wrote a bunch of Perl CGI in the early days of the internets....

The industry joke for a long time was that Perl is a "write-only" language.
Lol I still have nightmares about that language from my Programming Languages class in college.
Professor loved it.
I did not.
They passed back my final and said: "I tried like hell to flunk you on this, but I couldn't".
Still one of my top 10 college happy memories.
