- Decided it was time to replace my working bodhrán's head. Six weeks (and a half dozen gigs) before St. Patrick's day, so that should give me time play the head in properly.

- It's been a while since I last gave an update on my recovery from foot surgery. Frankenfoot is doing well. Today the doctor removed the last of the sutures, but I'm still supposed to keep off of it as much as possible, and if I do go out I'm supposed to wear the BOOT OF SHAME!

- Post-op update foot: Saw the doctor again today to see how the healing is going. He removed a few sutures, but most of them remain and he says it's healing well, if slowly. Looks very Frankenstein-y I'm to continue to keep off my feet as much as possible 2 more weeks until my next appointment.

- If you've got time left on your Disney+ subscription and haven't watched Andor yet, I recommend it. It's really Ironic that one of the first media company to fold to the threats from the government also made a really excellent show on the rise of Authoritarianism and what people can do to resist.
- Tomorrow I see the doctor for my first post-op appointment. Hopefully he'll lift some of the walking/standing restrictions. Using a walker and/or knee scooter is incredibly tiring and our house is definitely not ADA compliant. Thanks for listening to my complaining.
