- did more handstand practice today had 5 successful kick up attempts & held three of them for 20 seconds & two for 30 seconds today is also the first time i practiced on my own (@handsomemaxzero.bsky.social has been teaching me & been my spotter but are unavailable on Wed) i'm making good progress

- all of the books (plus 2 short stories & a graphic novel) that i read in january with my ratings for them 12 books was my goal for the year & it looks like i'm going to well surpass that working on my full text reviews on #Pagebound - i'm @AmarisSkye there if you'd like to see my full thoughts
- i didn't think my heart could be so full again after losing Bella but this sweet boy brings me such joy & calm that i have hope again.
- today i kicked up into a handstand on my own. i used a wall to keep my balance but this is a huge step for me in practicing inversions. looking forward to continuing to develop this skill. it's been a lot of fun learning so far. 😊

- While I've been taking a break from being online to focus on my health, I've been doing a ton of reading. In December 2025, I finished 23 of my 25 books for the year. I set a modest goal for myself for 2026 but it looks as though I may surpass it in February. 😅

- i placed a hold on this book the day my library acquired a digital copy (yesterday, December 9) & they have already added a second copy to their catalog just an example of why its important to utilize your public library, even if you prefer ebooks or audiobooks over physical books
- my hunky boys. i kept my word & this photo has another cat (but also my sweet prince, Garrus) for those who haven't seen him on stream, meet Naito, one of the handsomest cats i've ever met for size comparison, Naito is 17.4 lbs & Garrus is 15.2 lbs (7.89 kg & 6.9 kg respectively)

- i've decided while i'm on hiatus from streaming to sort out some health stuff that i'll post a daily cat photo each day most of them will be of Garrus since he is my fairly constant companion he is such a sweet & pretty boy
- reasons i'd like to be make 65k per year again - ability to survive financially & pay all my bills each month - have funds to join the patreons/kofi/mailing lists of more artists - ability to travel & visit friends - support local businesses in my community - be able to easily give to mutual aid
- I borrow as many books as I can from my local library & since I need to read the text while listening to audiobooks, I often borrow two copies of a book at a time. Support your local libraries! They need it now more than ever.
