- Mrs W’s culinary experiment for breakfast: a fried peanut butter and banana sandwich made using Elvis’s beloved recipe. It’s surprisingly good. Not as sweet as expected. But one is enough and I’m not surprised it killed him.

- This almost happened to a good friend of mine. Moved to digs in Lancaster that somebody else had arranged, just threw their bags in and went on the lash. By the end of the night had absolutely no idea where they lived… 1/2
- A bit confusing by the Norman Collier effect I was experiencing here today. Just worked out I had the good sense to mute the word ‘Jenrick’ some months ago.
- The Preston-Carlisle Avanti service via Ribblehead experiment almost but not quite works. But full credit to the train staff for keeping everyone informed and helping those who needed it.
- What this doesn’t mention is that BT often make phone calls from underused phone boxes free of charge. I guess it isn’t worth the cost of collecting the coins. So the 52 calls needed to save a phone box might be free. 1/2
- I’m not going to click the link. The reality could never live up to the story I hope it’s going to be.
