- Help: Iron Precipitated from cereal with milk added A long time ago, I heard a story (on the news, I think. I don't think it was a FOAF, I hope) about a new cereal or new formula of cereal that, when milk was added, produced tiny flecks of iron. I swear I remember this. Anyone else?
