- The train beer game from M&S Food at Marylebone has improved in recent months. Much prefer sipping on a Paulaner Münchner Hell than an own label ‘Belgian Lager’ any day

- It’s amazing what three consecutive days of proper sunshine does for my general mood. I never think my winter glums are that bad until a good dose of vitamin D comes along.
- Tonight’s supper was a bottle of Wadworth Old Timer Strong Ale and a pork pie from Block & Butchers of Wendover. The pie was sensational, the beer was fantastic and the pairing was sublime.
