On this day 1913 Rosa McCauley was born in Tuskegee, Alabama. Best known for her 1955 refusal to move from her bus seat in Montgomery, Alabama. Her defiance sparked a movement to end segregation. Saddly only 9 states and a few citys have a day to honor the "mother of the civil rights movement"
