- Really love how whenever you click on a bluesky notification it doesn't take you to the tweet you clicked on and instead takes you to a random one from 3 days ago

- Yesterday's Artemis rollout got me feelin some type of way
- Dianne. The time is 10:32 in the A.M. I'm at the Alamo Drafthouse Cinema in Corpus Christi, Texas. I'm now seated for episodes 4-6 of Twin Peaks. And I just had the most delightful bite of spicy popcorn.
- "These are the times that try men's souls... Tyranny, like hell, is not easily conquered. What we obtain too cheap: we esteem too lightly... and it would be strange indeed if so celestial an article as Freedom should not be highly rated." -Thomas Paine, 1776
- nw in theaters:
- The Seattle Mariners won the World Series in 2026.

- Longhorns have always known that OU is a disgraced, shameful institution but it's good the rest of the world knows too
- Going to the mall and pretending im in a walkable city
- Game awards is so embarrassing. No time for 75% of the winners to give a speech, but plenty of time for amazon ads and ms pigartwork. Even at the awards show gaming is treated as a commodity instead of an artform.
- Pick a Pitcher! Player A: 3.99 FIP, 5.43 ERA, 1.29 K/BB, 0.4 HR/9 Player B: 3.99 FIP, 4.11 ERA, 2.47 K/BB, 1.0 HR/9
- In the DS9 ep Heart of Stone, the song Louie, Louie is referred to by Constable Odo as a sea shanty. The only explanation for that I can figure is that 300 years in the future the only surviving reference to Louie, Louie exists through a group of people only known by the name Seattle Mariners

- Darnold continues to lead the league in Net Yards/Pass Attempt. It's time for him to get some national praise. And he earned some in his dominant outing last night on NBC. Read more:

- A criterion collection 4k release of the duellists would fix me
- Ted Cruz pretending to not understand how extended families work is hilarious. He's from Texas! He should know that any non-direct family member more than 10 years older than you is automatically an aunt/uncle. Also childhood friends of your parents are your aunts/uncles.

- now that the mariners' season is over, we can engage in our favorite off season activity: laughing at the anaheim angels
- Too early to "next year" post, but I am very excited to see what cal raleigh does with ABS in 2026
- It is the morning of October 21st. For the first time since February, the Seattle Mariners do not have an upcoming baseball game. Only the 2001 season, which lasted until Oct 22 was longer. I've loved the last 8 months.
- the deepest playoff run in mariners history comes to an end in game 7 of the alcs. the mariners remain the only team in major league baseball to never win a pennant. they found the edges of the map and could go no further.
- CAAAAAAAAL RAAAAAAAALEIGHHHHH

- Kraken beat the Leafs 4-3 in overtime. Mariners have a chance to win the ALCS 4-3 tomorrow.

- Blue jays pitchers: it was tough, but I finally got past Randy Arozarena, Julio Rodriguez, and Cal Raleigh. Surely I'm safe now. The consistent Jorge Polanco:

- after watching this home run a conservative 3000 times, I think I see a little of Ken Griffey Jr. in Polanco's swing
- The Mariners are in a better position right now than at any point in their history. How did we get here? And what happens now that they're coming home? www.lookoutlanding.com/game-recap/1...
- Its embarrassing for the Fox Sports to keep referring to Polanco as "supporting cast" for the Mariners. It shows how little attention they've paid Seattle. Polanco has been one of the driving forces for this team, especially the last two months.
- Bryce Miller has been forgiven for attending texas a&m
