- Reposted by zac haleOkay folks, here's where we are with the Laken Riley Act: enough Democrats have agreed to either vote for the bill or agree to move to debate that an initial filibuster will fail. But there will still be another opportunity for a filibuster after debate. So pressure on Senators can still matter.
