- We are knee-deep in the Pacific Northwest season I've dedided to call Whinger... Before COVID, I used to take a long weekend writing retreat in early to mid-February, when things tend to be at Peak Whinge. A Gulf Island B&B, usually. I should revist that - something to look forward to.

- The past two years have been head-down building years. The coming year is going to build UPON that. A lot of shifts need to happen. One of those is to be more vocal, with a larger academic online presence and network.
- Off to a small New Years' gathering with old friends - old enough that we would all like to be back home and in pyjamas by 10 o'clock. Kettle is ready for when I return, and a new journal and pen laid out waiting. A matched set, despite being gifts from different people! They know me so well. 🫖☕ 📖🖋️💖
