- In Germany as a wheelchair user I am forced to make a seat reservation on trains in order to get assistance on ICE trains. Even though I can't sit in the seat because I am not German with the appropriate disability card it is €10 per reservation 1/3

- In the last 5 years I've met loads of disabled people desperate to work but unable to find employment opportunities that meet their needs, particularly people that are constantly getting to interview but not getting the job if you want disabled people in work you need to work with employers 1st
- Today is international wheelchair day. My wheelchair is my liberation. 3 simple things everyone can do to make life better for wheelchair users. 1) If you're planning an event or just a coffee with a wheelchair user, check that it's accessible in advance. 1/3 #InternationalWheelchairDay
- This evening I'm at the Scottish parliament at a reception for @rnibscotland.bsky.social to celebrate 200 years of Braille. I think it is really important that blind people should be taught Braille technology is giving access like never before knowing Braille gives people choice
