- Seeing all the photos and memories shared in the chats and on social media has been fantastic. There had been worries that we would be in for a rainy weekend, but miraculously, we only had rain on one evening, and managed to avoid an entire storm!
- Lumley Castle also exceeded our expectations, with a fantastic setting and such wonderful and helpful staff who enjoyed every moment of it.
- We look forward to seeing you as Twizell return to Lumley Castle for Wild North 2026: Age of Heroes. - Evening Flufftails, Advance train tickets are available for September for all operators in northern England. This includes Northern and TransPennine Express, both train companies serving Chester-le-Street, our nearest station.
- Roughly now would be the best time to look for train tickets, so if you see an affordable fare, go for it! Remember to buy or use a railcard (if eligible) to get your tickets for a discount. We are working behind the scenes to arrange transport between Chester-le-Street station and Lumley Castle.
