Feminist Theology Network
An international and inclusive collective of feminist and womanist theologians, scholars and anyone interested in women having a voice within the church.
FTN - For the flourishing of all women.
- Thank you to the wonderful McManus-Dail for this evening. The excitement was justified 💖
- It's tomorrow!!!!! Not that everyone who has been reading the book over advent is excited or anything...
- A little while ago we announced a joint project with Practical Theology Hub. The first article has been released into the wild! Silence and Survival: Re-Reading Bathsheba Through Womanist and Feminist Lenses Anne Marie Foster practicaltheologyhub.com?p=2057 (ALT text in the first reply box)
- Last one from me today, promise. We have been asked to post our upcoming events calendar on here, so your wish is my command... To quote the Lego Movie, "Everything is awesome..." - I genuinely can't pick my favourite, so just come to everything!
- Back by popular demand, the FTN SUAW Writing Room will be back up and running from Monday.
- And the countdown is on... FTN expert panel on publishing is next week, so add Tuesday night to your diary.
- So there is no FTN advent calendar this year because we are doing an advent read instead - the reading plan begins on Sunday for "God Didn't Make Us to Hate Us". It got me thinking - let's promote our members new/recently published work during the next month especially. Need you to send it first!

- IT'S TOMORROW!!!!! Ok, so I know I shouted, but it's going to be so awesome that I thought you'd want me to get your attention...
- FTN advent reading group! Asynchronous, i.e. whenever in the day/week you like, so we can join together over different time zones without me messing up the clock... Totally shouting out to our members across the various oceans 😊

- Next up on the FTN calendar... yes, we know we are spoiling you with such excellent speakers: this week it was Dr Holly Morse and next month we have Dr Amey Victoria Adkins-Jones. Make sure Wednesday 19th November goes in your diary!
- For our Australian members close to Melbourne BUT there are online options too for international folks who are further away (or in different time zones...): events.humanitix.com/to-listen-an...
- The FTN is saddened to learn of the death of Phyllis Trible - one of the great pioneers of work in feminist theology. She will be greatly missed, but her indelible influence lives on. "May she rest in peace and glory." For Phyllis Trible's Union obituary, see: myunion.utsnyc.edu/emailviewonw...
