- Quick fitness update: had my daughter's open house yesterday and last semester, it was the biggest struggle to walk to the building and climb the stairs. Yesterday it was not that bad and I didn't even have to find a place to sit like I did last time.
- Just finished Joe Hill's King Sorrow and I really enjoyed this gritty reboot of Pete's Dragon.
- Day 6-7 I swear, I cannot WAIT for people to give up on their fitness goals, because reader. ..today was even busier than the busiest day I've encountered. Did shoulders and chest. Those are my best attributes, so I like to keep them feeling strong.

- Day 60 progress.
- Day 59 - Almost forgot! Having knee issues, so I just did other workouts today. Still feel fantastic other than the whole knee thing.
- The emotions I've been feeling lately are reminiscent of how it feels to read "John Dies at the End."
- Instead of arguing with people, I've started just adding "*citation needed."
- Fitness update: taking a rest day, but I am now 14 lbs down from my starting weight and 31 lbs down from my highest weight since beginning. In the 420s again.
- So... my right leg - the one that ... I *thought* was cellulitis is swollen and red.
- Day 56 was a great workout! Did a mile in 27 minutes. I know that's not terribly fast, but it's a new best for me 😊 Maxed out the back extension machine, too. That's how it's Done Done Done.

- Day 52 - BACK AT IT. I think I've healed enough for me to get back to work. I've felt like I was reverting back into my couch potato ways and needed to get out for a leg/back day. I've gained about 3 lbs, weirdly enough but I had been eating more sweets than normal.
- As a hot sauce connoisseur, I am frustrated in how hit and miss Melinda's hot sauce is. The green sauce (green tomato based) is the best in the business, ousting Tabasco green sauce as my favorite in the variety.
- Two days into the year and I'm already grief-stricken.
