- I still really enjoy my job after so long doing it, and I'm very thankful for that
- ICYMI: This week's show is up! @metlstorm.risky.biz and I were joined by our new podcast host @jameswilson.io to talk all about the Notepad++ supply chain compromise and the security angle on the Clawdbot/Moltbook fiasco: VIDEO: www.youtube.com/watch?v=W5hx... AUDIO: risky.biz/RB823
- It hurts my brain
- Matthew Inman was right
- “Now devalue the US dollar.”
- US trade deficit widens by the most in nearly 34 years in November reut.rs/3NU8lXC
- Reposted by Patrick GrayWith my book launching in the US + Canada I joined @patrick.risky.biz & @metlstorm.risky.biz on the RiskyBiz pod. I've listened to these guys for 8yrs so it was an honour to chat through cyber news and explain why I decided to write a book about teenage hackers and the Vastaamo case. risky.biz
- 🌮
- There will be five episodes: 1980s, 1990s, 2000s, 2010s and 2020s But these things take a long time to produce, so I’m guessing episode 5 is coming towards the end of the year.
- We’re doing a documentary/storytelling/history podcast series! The first episode is out now…
- Back when I started, especially in what was then called the antivirus industry, the past weighed heavily on the present. Which is why I'm really enjoying this History of Hacking podcast series by @patrick.risky.biz and @amberleighjack.bsky.social risky.biz/HTWGO1/
- There’s gaslighting, then there’s whatever the fuck this is
- An absolutely superb podcast from my colleague @tom.risky.biz and @thegrugq.bsky.social featuring Hamid Kashfi discussing the evolution of Iranian APTs. 10/10 risky.biz/BTN148/
- I saw Trump is considering replicating Australia’s superannuation scheme in the USA… that would be a massive win for Americans. It’s a terrific scheme and you’d be nuts not to copy it. America’s current social security scheme is insane
- I am currently fixated on the idea of trading in my Supra for a Toyota Century... this is concerning
- @zkorman.com I’m watching your reviews drop on the other site… feels a bit like this
- Great to be in Melbourne for the day!
- Reposted by Patrick Gray@patrick.risky.biz Loved the show last Wed. Quick update on the WSUS situation, a lot of business networks (most?) use Intune / 3P MDM for Windows updates, not WSUS. Win Update for Business, now Autopatch lets you create rings / groups etc. with the binaries coming from MS, not WSUS.

- Got a "on background and not for attribution no comment" reply from an Australian government media spokesperson today. That's a new one! The OFFICIAL stamp at the top of the email just makes it funnier. #yourtaxesatwork

- I published a Wide World of Cyber edition today about the f5 incident with @stamos.org and @thekrebscycle.bsky.social No video for this episode… our video platform is AWS dependent 🤦♂️ risky.biz/WWC11/
- Commander Cheeseman can eat ass. His March for Australia angels spent at least a part of the morning staring down my (tiny, brown) wife at a train station in Brisbane today. I’m not defending the rock chuckers in Melbourne but give me a break… praise for white Australia rally participants? 🤮
- If you're at the cybercon thingy in Melbourne today or tomorrow the KnocKnoc folks have a little babby booth... drop in and say hi! Tell 'em Pat sent you!
- Whoops! Fixing now, sorry everyone
- @patrick.risky.biz is only for me today’s episode cuts out after 6:24?
- I traded in my Prado for an eight year old fancy Land Cruiser (Lexus LX). I’m using it as god intended, not as a mall crawler Time off was fun, back in the office today!
- Australia!
