- He was not used to them being so slippery. It wasn't some meager ghoul or vampire - but something else. And it had been stalking children. In New York. In HIS city. He may have opened the doors to the supernatural refugees of the universe in Queens, helping them reshape the near umbra into a home.
- But now someone was taking advantage of his hospitality. Or worse, preying on the people he had helped. The dark alleyways were littered trash and debris - something had torn it up beyond all reason. Claw marks in the brick, a dumpster ripped in two. "Now what does this sort of damage...?"
