- I have finished Rachel Reid's entire gay hockey smut oeuvre in audiobook form. Are they great literature? No. Are they cute jock yaoi with enough thought behind them to make them decent comfort food for a gay man? Absolutely. The thought of now finding actually-good gay lit is mildly terrifying.

- Oddly healing to be working on Whitest Kids stuff in this current political moment. Trevor was so anti-authority and severely OCD, so got way too into anti-governmental conspiracies, but he ended up being right about the vast majority of it. We will get through this. - I think the repurposing of the word “slop” to mean crap/low effort content was one of the most important things to happen in 2025. Giving it a name means discourse, a line in the sand. We can reject it en masse. AI slop. Netflix slop. Superhero slop. What was once snobbery is now having standards.

- Interviewed 2 old friends and a new friend today for the Whitest Kids MARS disc. Very emotional day. Very rewarding. This disc is going to be something very special.
- Finally succumbed to Heated Rivalry. It's some real well-made, well-written yaoi. I can only imagine how it must play to people who have never seen anything like it.
- Flew back to LA and picked up my car from a nearby hotel parking garage. Bizarrely, without damaging my car at all, some broke into it and stole most of the crap in my glove compartment and console. And I do mean CRAP. Half-finished containers of moisturizer and sun block. Extra napkins. WTF.
