- It was an honour to meet His Majesty King Charles III in Buckingham Palace, alongside the Usher of the Black Rod, Mr. J. Greg Peters, M.V.O.
- On this occasion, His Majesty bestowed upon the new sword that will be carried by the Usher of the Black Rod. The new sword marks the year of His Majesty's coronation while honoring the historic milestone achieved by the Crown in Canada. I sincerely thank His Majesty the King for this honor.
