- Applied for a Canada tourist visa and the IRCC got back to me saying I still hold a PR of Canada?! Apparently my parents had Canadian PR (yes, I spent some years growing up in Canada). They came back to India in 2002, but never formally gave up their PR. Any advice for how to handle this situation?

- Spent my birthday getting bullied on X. Just because I said journalists were an important resource for public information during COVID and we shouldn’t stand by while tech bros decimate and denigrate us. I truly wish these bots find peace in their life.
- All my friends want to know what I plan to do today. My response literally is, I just want to sleep and rest. I guess this is how birthdays look like once you turn 33?
- Thank you to the Burqas and Beer podcast for featuring me and my film, Far from Home! Check out the episode on Spotify. We are currently on an Oscar campaign and your support will help bring this film to more people across the world! @brenthuffman.bsky.social open.spotify.com/episode/13lR...

- India has put into force a new immigration act. This means Muslim refugees are at IMMEDIATE risk of persecution. The subjects of my film, Far from Home, are in danger. They need your support. Watch Far from Home in LA if you can. It’s screening till September 25: bit.ly/far-from-home-la-screening
- This situation back home has made me realize one thing - you can't trust TV channels in India. My trust in the media has been completed eroded.
- Please be considerate. Some of us have families back home. We are unable to sleep, eat or work. War does not bring peace - it only brings destruction. Please, for the love of God, please de-escalate now. Please! #IndiaPakistan

- When I lived outside Silicon Valley, I never understood people's dissatisfaction with it. Now that I am here, I totally get it. I know the East coast has its own share of bad people, but SV people have no empathy - and that makes them incredibly dangerous in our society.

- There's just so much hate out there for the H1B visa. As a spouse being supported by an H1B visa holder, I can tell you not everything about this visa is bad. It gives well educated people an opportunity to legally immigrate to the US. If you close this pathway, it will adversely affect your country
- Been reading in horror about the wildfires in LA. My heart goes out to all those who lost their homes and lives to the fire. I know it will take time to rebuild, but I have deep faith in the community of LA. They will bounce back.
