Monday morning reasons to be cheerful:
- Cardiff Rugby won
- we played in daylight
- our loosehead kicked a 50/22!!
- Cornel Smit's tackling
- Iwan Stephens running down the wing
- Tom Bowen in at the corner
- Big Al
- through to knockout stage of Challenge Cup
#AlwaysCardiffA less than ideal start to the new year with 3 tries in 10 mins gains us a try bonus point piece of glitter to decorate the turd of a first 70.
A lot of stuff to be worked on after a promising first 5 rounds.
Good evening from CF10 Towers (Exeter Branch). A message before the NYE libations take hold.
2025 has been a testing time for our beloved club with departures, entering administration and takeovers. However, the Blue and Blacks continue to excite on the field and the fans bring it off of it.
Here's to a great and hopefully less trying year for the club, our members and your families.
Who are we kidding? It's Welsh rugby after all. Happy new year all! 🔵⚫️
Merry Betwixmas from CF10 Towers, Exeter Branch, where we definitely hadn't forgotten what day it is. 😅
Anyhow, after our annual boxing day beatdown of the Dragons, here are your Pink 'n' Blacks to take on the Ospreys! 🔵⚫️
The 1990s Cardiff AT&T jersey.
Influencers are calling it the must have streetwear item for 2026.
A very Merry Christmas to all on Blue and Black Sky.
So, a word on these guys. Reg Clark, Niels Juul, Gareth West and Martyn Ryan.
The men bidding to buy Cardiff.
Why favour them over Y11?
1) A recent Walesonline piece strongly hinted that theirs is the better deal financially.
1/7
2) They have made their interest public, visited CAP and met with supporters to talk about their plans.
Of all the bidders they have easily been the most transparent.
3) Their plans are genuinely bold and exciting. They don't only offer money. They offer a vision.
2/7
4) Y11's bid implies either a messy merger or the end of the Ospreys. The stench from a deal like that would last a generation. It cant be allowed to happen.
5) The "Hollywood" bid also involves individuals who know rugby with deep links with the game going back decades.

But ultimately, the real owners of a club are the people who care for it most.
The fans.
And it'll ultimately be up to us to help shape that future.
We want a future of optimism, joy and the rebirth of a great club.
And it's impossible to see that with Y11.

"And the boys in the South Terrace Choir
Still singing Cardiff Born
And the Drags will get a kicking on Boxing Day..."
We've started with Fairytale of the Arms Park if thats ok James.
On 15th December 1917, a Cardiff Ladies XV put together by "Ma" Rosser (in the hat) ran out at the Arms Park.
This is the earliest known photo of a womens rugby team.
We understand one of the bidders for Cardiff rugby are keen to reintroduce a womens team.
Hint: It isn't Y11.
A Christmas message to Y11.
We're aware that you're bidding for our club.
But the day you buy Cardiff will be the first day of the campaign to get rid of you.
You're not wanted. Keep your hands off.
Do one.
"Speaking truth to Power". Our latest blog post looks at the importance of involving those who care most about the club in the future of the club and what we can learn from Salford in keeping supporters informed.

Speaking Truth to Power
For those of a certain age, watching the BBC Floodlit Rugby League Trophy on Tuesday evenings in the late 70s was a furtive pleasure that few staunch Union fans would admit to in public. The second…
Cardiff against Stade Francais is an historic fixture. These amazing photographs are from a match at the Parc des Princes in 1912 when an "enormous crowd" witnessed Cardiff's 19-3 victory at "the unusually late hour of 4o'clock" (Ha!!).

This is the final twist this saga needs. Netflix will be kicking themselves they didn’t buy into this gripping melodrama.
Only question left is “Will they actually do the Scooby Doo ending?”

Send over any questions/thoughts on the latest WRU plans, Zebre, Rags and Wales’ autumn campaign…
This is awful to see. A club with such a rich heritage and very much part of the local community.
A weekend of 2 halves. Impressive performances from all the Regions. Depleted by Wales call ups and injuries they dug deep and did us proud.
The South Africa match was a step too far for Wales. Missing so many players and up against the best in the world, it was a tough watch.
For those of you who aren't members (shame on you) here is the official CF10 response below:

Good morning from CF10 Towers (Ty Glas Outpost). I've just finished the latest @Cardiff_Central podcast and I don't know about anyone else, but I'm pumped for the next block! McNally is an excellent advocate for rugby in the Capital! 🔵⚫️

This week’s special guest is… Josh McNally!
The Cardiff second row will be jumping on the recording on Wednesday evening so get any questions you have in and we’ll do our best to get through them.
The quality of Tomos Williams' passing from the base here is so good.
Borderline impossible to defend him in the red zone such is the variety of his attack.
Given the ludicrous demands on current/prospective investors proposed, I'm impressed they even lasted 10 minutes.
www.walesonline.co.uk/sport/rugby/...It's a sunny but cold morning at CF10 Towers. There's a palpable relief in the air after Cymru end a significant losing streak at home. For now let us ignore that performance and like the team move onto the All Blacks on Saturday.
Just on watch 42146321679 of this.
Lovely win for the Rags v Drovers.

Buckle up ...
Bore Da from CF10 Towers. Sitting here on the veranda and thinking about 'fun'.
Fun
Winning at CAP
Taking coffee in Italy
Riding at the front of a double decker
Riding a train rolling past another train going in the same direction
Not fun
Making good rugby people unemployed
With news of a Dr Who Xmas special breaking, it seems yet again Dr WRU is ahead of the curve.
Despite the many reincarnations of those at the top table, the re-hashed story lines, the constant threat, and tired gimmicks remain the central theme.
Exterminate indeed.
We are sure Dave Reddin is a smashing bloke but currently every interview he gives feels like he is auditioning for the part of Dick Dastardly.
And lack of famous Clanecklee Adeeeeeedas stripes ...

Lovely. Memories of Jeff Whitefoot and Ian Eidman triggered!
The Rhondda Front Row 💪
Huge impact from Corey Domachowski and Keiron Assiratti off the bench.
Eddie Jones thinks the pressure on England to win is unique in world rugby. Jones has shown himself up here.
Clearly, the responsibility of playing toward the club house second half trumps whatever emanates from the massed low swinging, picnic quaffing car parks of HQ.
Cardiff Rugby. Block 1.
Lovely. Hearty. Brave. Stabilising.
The absolute opposite of the WRU.
Cardiff Rugby. Performing through a maelstrom of indifference from those next door.
Cardiff 20-19 Edinburgh FT
Another one that needed a huge effort to get over the line 💪🏻
Massive bench impact was crucial and that’s exactly what Ioan Lloyd was brought in for.
20 from 25, superb start.
#CARvEDIBecause years more uncertainty and the sword of damocles hanging over us is the perfect way to secure the future of rugby in Wales.
