- Okay, I’ll admit it I just needed an excuse to finally buy a Mac Mini (been wanting one for way too long).
- Prompt injections are real and there is no real solution for them... yet.
- I barely stepped away from “geeking out” for less than 48 hrs and apparently I’m supposed to be running Clawdbot and should have purchased a Mac Mini for it… Don’t tell my wife but I already did. Also I’m all up for being in tech to constantly learn but can we slow down a bit 🤣
- Does anyone else try to completely maximize their Claude Opus weekly allowance before it resets? It’s like going to a fancy buffet and repeating the fanciest dish one last time right?
- I have been using Perplexity Pro for about two months and I haven’t once since then used Google does anyone else feel like traditional search even Google’s AI assisted search is severely lagging behind?
- Post test limits here are annoying me a bit so giving Substack a shot. substack.com/@dnlfdz/note...
- How long until Enterprise Software / Productivity suites cutoff API access to competing AI agents? I’m going to guess we end up with walled gardens. Do companies like Box/Dropbox have a MOAT for “holding the data”? We shall see.
- Well, it’s going to be a weekend full of fun tests with my new and flashy “WiFi 7 Router”
- Economics Rant: has anyone considered the premise that maybe gold price is not as high as we think and maybe the USD is just worth exponentially less overtime? Anyway; back to printing money.

- Looks like @hak5.bsky.social 🍍📟 WiFi Pineapple Pagers were finally approved by the FCC. Christmas is coming early!
- Black Friday is almost here, the day where we constantly add things to an e-commerce shopping cart we won't buy and probably won't need. If only they did the same discounts for domain names so we continue to buy and register domains we don't need.

- Perplexity Pro is getting subsidized for 12 months for all PayPal users. Definitely going to take advantage of it and try to see the advantages and disadvantages vs ChatGPT and Gemini.
- LensCrafters same day eye glasses are a life saver. #NotAnAdButItCouldBe
- You know your security settings for account management, etc. are kind of robust when you get a new phone and you’re absolutely locked out of everything and can’t get back in even when you know all the things.

- Economics Rant: - S&P 500 is up 14.85% - U.S Dollar Index (value of the dollar) is down 8.9% The market being at all time highs is 1) Inaccurate 2) Concerning. Don't put your money to work you lose to inflation. Put money to work asset bubble 😐 USD as a reserve currency is not at risk right?
- Mag7 companies will spend 66% of 2025 operating cash flow in CapEx (~$364B) That's the post.

- Hot Take: MCP is not an “API for agents” it’s more like a patch for legacy code. “Older” applications which prevent programmatic access to components are patched by MCP. Is this the right solution? Time will tell.
- Every time I hear “SaaS will go to zero with Vibe Coding” I’m convinced there is a fundamental misunderstanding about what makes enterprise software “enterprise”.
- Inflation incentivizes consumption because the net value of liabilities gets lower overtime. Inflation is a monetary policy phenomenon. So it's not far fetched to think that inflationary monetary policy will continue for a country in which consumption represents 70% of the economy.

- For the last couple of weeks I have been hard at work evaluating wether to buy a Framework laptop or to buy an "old" M1 Macbook Air and install Asahi Linux to have a dedicated Linux laptop. Is anyone running the latter? Thoughts?
- I’m randomly craving Paraguayan food after watching some YouTube food videos and I don’t think Asunción is an option. Miami better have a group of Paraguayans that can make this happen right?
- It may sound difficult but I teleported to the field today to celebrate the third GaTech win in a row. Will I be excited about college football again after all these years 🏈 ?
- Medical device testing is fascinating. I guess my iPhone 11 Pro will have to stick around a bit longer 😂

- How did we let phone manufacturers make it okay to charge $1000+ for a piece of equipment that doesn’t come with a charging brick? We are literally paying $1000+ for devices that don’t have every accessory needed for daily use.

- AI applications introduce a fundamentally new and expanded threat surface. Your traditional security boundaries are no longer enough. The key to securing these applications? A hardened runtime. edera.dev/stories/secu...
- True disruption redefines the entire platform, rendering old advantages irrelevant and demanding a willingness to build for a new reality, even if it cannibalizes your current success. stratechery.com/2025/paradig...
- My current existential crisis is deciding to buy a bright yellow vs black Hak5 Pineapple Pager. As the proud owner of a bright orange Flipper Zero and strongly leaning yellow. #homelab

- Forget about Cybersecurity M&A discussions. Havanna Argentinian Alfajores are hitting mainstream groceries (Costco & Publix). The snack game is about to change. Nabisco, Ferrero Group and Pepperidge Farms better get their M&A teams ready 😂
