- absolutely torn apart by how many people i see praise and love this AI book, we're reading slop and we don't know it. So many people genuinely invested in supporting an author and a work, and its not a human one, its pretending to be what it isn't
- the worst thing about gen AI is that now art has to be looked at with suspicion. Having to consider that art could be simply a husk with no human instead of engaged with earnestly: soul crushing. I dont want want to live in a world like this.
- last year i hyped up this book/cover bc its beautiful + the premisce sounded great. Then the book got pulled to be re-published (it was originially self-published), and now its back, with a new cover. Turns out the og cover was stolen + the book is at least AI-edited. Stay away from it
