- Day 37 of my #365project. More blur on Main St. in Kansas City, MO. The Milano-Cortina Winter Olympics have started. It is cool that they have multiple locations this time. Time to watch sports at odd hours and boo our fascist Vice President. #photography
- Day 36 of my #365project. Blur for blurry times. Wish I didn’t see it all too clearly. But we must persevere. #photography
- Day 35 of my #365project. The City Market in the River Market neighborhood in Kansas City, Missouri has been active since 1857. #photography
- Day 34 of my #365project. Today was one of those. Didn’t get the job I wanted with the benefits I need. So #CatnamedYoda will continue to be my coworker. Some sad family news adding to the pile. Going to read a bit and hope tomorrow is a better day. Breathing deeply. We will survive. #photography
- Day 33 of my #365project. Thinking of everyone who has been protesting since the beginning. We knew. We know. Trump and Epstein will be linked forever together. They are one and the same. #photography #nokings
- Day 32 of my #365project. Looking north towards downtown Kansas City, Missouri from 22nd St. and Gillham Road. In honor of Black History Month I suggest this great local resource at kcblackhistory.org. #photography #bhm
- Day 31 of my #365project. Washington Square Park is home to the Missouri Korean Wars Memorial and a statue of Washington on a horse in Kansas City, Missouri. Next to the streetcar on Main St., Union Station and Crown Center it also on a list of sites for a new stadium for the KC Royals. #photography
- Day 30 of my #365project. This is The Link walkway that connects hotels, Crown Center and now Union Station in Kansas City, Missouri. Good for these cold winter days. News is bad but the protests today remind me that we keep walking. No one can predict the future. #photography #architecture
- Day 29 of my #365project. The Hyatt Regency Skywalk collapsed during a dance in 1981 and 114 people died. Kansas City’s darkest day. Many failures led to the tragedy but it is a strong reminder of the dangers of not holding everyone accountable, and of taking personal responsibility. #photography
- Day 28 of my #365project. A recent multiple exposure on Main St. in Kansas City, Missouri. Life is upside down yet the bills still have to be paid. So I will go to my job interview tomorrow and call my Reps to yell at them when I get home again. Got to keep going. #photography
- Day 27 of my #365project. Current mood from the recent #ICEOutForGood protest in Mill Creek Park, Kansas City, Missouri. #photography #abolishice
- Day 26 of my #365project. As a former Brownie and Girl Scout I buy some cookies every year to help my fellow scouts. This year I bought from a trans Girl Scout in Missouri to show my support from this wonderful list: www.erininthemorning.com/p/2026-trans... #photography #supporttransyouth
- Day 24 of my #365project. Surreal day watching the snow fall in Kansas City while another innocent helper was murdered by the Trump regime in Minneapolis. #abolishice #photography
- Day 23 of my #365project. Charging candles and checking on emergency supplies before the winter storm rolls in. Warmed by the 1000’s of brave people who marched and striked against ICE today in Minnesota and beyond. Stay safe all. #photography
- Day 22 of my #365project. Sunsets have been lovely lately here in Kansas City, Missouri. For all affected by the impending winter storms please stay safe. We are stocked up here and will be staying in. #photography #kcwx
- Day 21 of my #365project. Being surrounded by books is a bright spot in dark days. Corner of books at an antique store in Lexington, Missouri. #photography
- Day 20 of my #365project. If you are ever in Lexington, Missouri stop by and support El Sabor De México Mexican Bar & Grill on Main St. Affordable, authentic, and delicious food. They have great veg options. They also have a counter of Mexican candies but I was too full. #photography #restaurants
- Day 19 of my #365project. Reflections of Main St. in Lexington, Missouri. #photography
- Day 18 of my #365project. Old storefronts on Main Street off the town square in Lexington, Missouri. #photography #architecture
- Day 17 of my #365project. More old family photos I need to organize. Late 1970’s diptych record of grandma’s car accident and her smoking a cigarette while holding photos. Location unknown. 📸 Polaroid OneStep 🎞️ Polaroid SX-70 #instantfilm #believeinfilm #photography
- Day 16 of my #365project. I have a bunch of old photos I need to organize. This was taken in Oklahoma near my grandparent’s place around 1979. I loved feeding the ducks on the lake as a youngster and following them. 📸 Polaroid OneStep 🎞️ Polaroid SX-70 #instantfilm #believeinfilm #photography
- Day 15 of my #365project. Went outside to clear my head from the world and watched the birds dancing for a bit. #photography
- Day 14 of my #365project. It’s home. View from The Link at Union Station over Main St. looking towards the Crossroads and Downtown Kansas City, Missouri. #photography
- Day 13 of my #365project. Fighting a cold and fascism. From the #ICEOutForGood #protest in Kansas City, Missouri on 1.10.26. Solidarity to all standing and speaking up. #photography #abolishice
- Day 12 of my #365project. Picked up this one page folded zine at the anti-ICE #protest on Saturday. This is still a vital, inexpensive, low-tech way to share important information. Whistles to alert neighbors were also available alongside. #photography #abolishice
- Day 11 of my #365Project. One more from yesterday’s #ICEOutForGood rally in Kansas City, Missouri. #photography #abolishice
- Day 10 of my #365Project. Today I joined hundreds of my neighbors at the Vigil for All Victims of ICE and rally for #ICEOutForGood in Mill Creek Park in Kansas City, Missouri. Thank you to all who attended similar events. #photography #protest #abolishice
- Day 9 of my #365project. Protect your neighbors. Flyers in English and Spanish spotted on Main St. in Kansas City, Missouri warning people not to open their doors for ICE. #photography #abolishice
- Day 8 of my #365project. Two KC streetcars passing each other in Kansas City, Missouri. #photography #transit
- Day 7 of my #365Project. The Town of Kansas pedestrian bridge connects the River Market to the Missouri River in Kansas City, MO. Rough news day. Taking a walk away from the news or to a vigil if one is near you helps. #photography #transit #abolishice
- Day 6 of my #365Project. Sis at the Holidays Reflections exhibit at Union Station in Kansas City, MO. She is a survivor and the bravest person I know. She had a rough past year and I hope this one is more gentle for her. #photography #portrait
- Day 5 of my #365Project. Train tracks alongside and the Hannibal Bridge spanning the Missouri River in Kansas City, Missouri. The first Hannibal bridge was hit with a tornado in the late 1880’s. The view behind it has changed recently with the new Buck O’Neil Bridge. #photography #transit
- Day 4 of my #365Project. Sis came to town with a friend and we took the streetcar down to the River Market. Had to shoot my favorite ABS Bridge over the Missouri River which used to run streetcars to NKC. #photography #kansascity #transit
- Day 3 of my #365Project. Woke up late last night and heard the news. The Trump Regime has illegally attacked Venezuela and removed the President. Another unprovoked horrific act. No more wars. No more fascism. #photography
- Day 2 of my #365Project. My vertical weekly productivity planner. I started using it in early December and am enjoying the format. My main calendar is digital and this helps me focus on the week. It stands up on my small desk. Also, I thought it was Friday all day yesterday. #photography #planner
- Day 1 of my #365project. My first attempt at posting 1 photo a day for an entire year. Call it my art therapy and record. Starting off 2026 with my photo editor #CatnamedYoda. I am currently decluttering my digital files under his judgment. Happy 2026 to all my fellow creatives! #photography #cats
