- Most engaged couples go dress shopping and cake tasting. Well, not us, we went to sample a brunch in the park. "I feel so lucky" I told him on our way from there. "We both are very lucky." he said.

- When your life balance is slowly restoring again after a traumatic experience, there is a moment when the perception of beauty returns and the inrush of awe is sudden and ovewhelming.
- @skilosthedog.bsky.social had a great weekend at the pool closing event in Trebur. He swam, he ate ice-cream, but mostly he played and ran with friends until he couldn't run more, returning home a sleepy and mellow puppy. Both days we stopped at his favourite Hundewiese, too.
- While I am cooking his meals for the week, using the best beef, crushed linnen seeds and carrots, young prince @SkilosTheDog just woke up from his after-bath nap. Yes, yes he does have a new bathrobe. And 3 different blankies to choose from. Yes, it is only his bed.

- I just traded this little ginger soul for a few dog treats. Good thing crows are my friends and a negotiation was possible - the big old crow fella wanted to eat this baby squirrel. Now to drive the injured bebe to a rescue station.

- My day in pictures: My friends helped me get Skilo out to the dog park with an adjacent Biergarten, and Johannes had to give him a bath once he got home. 🙈
- While I'm off recovering after a surgery, my team sent me flowers! 🥰 The vase is mine, and it somehow perfectly matches the paper the flowers came with. 😲

- Guess I did something wrong... they kicked me out of the hospital after 2 days, saying I was too fit to keep loitering. 🤷♀️ Don't get me wrong, I lost an organ in a 2 hour surgery on Thursday, so I am not in a working order, but I did shuffle 4000 steps around the ward yesterday.
