- 3rd day out of the last 4 seeing the absolutely wrong side of 5am. I've been awake for an hour. These brain weasels can go jump off a cliff.
- Reposted by Jennevierebrb signing the government up for some sweet discounts 😏
- A Thursday? In THIS economy??
- Had to call FAFSA today for an error in connecting student to parent forms. FAFSA phone support: You need to find an old Dell computer to complete this form. Me, an intellectual: FFS NO. That's not how this works. I would have thrown my phone if I wasn't laughing so hard.
- BAY AREA: Grab your wigs, your David sweaters, your Roland plaids, your Jocelyn WHATEVERS, and join this Sat as we traipse about and enjoy the finest fruit wine Herb Ertlinger has to offer. Don't act like a disgruntled pelican... invite your friends: the MORE the MOIRA-IER! 🖤 lu.ma/8k6httd5
- Not even long distance friends. All friends. [grabby hands] GIMME.
- I don’t think people realize what a flex it is to just be able to turn plenty of my ears off when I’m overhearing a really fucking stupid or annoying conversation happening around me. #HexingAid #HoH
- That was supposed to read “one of my ears” but I like “plenty”, it makes me sound even more otherworldly.
- A year ago I shared a photo of our sleeping cat in a Sphynx cat group, and in solid proof that the internet can still be a place of whimsey and magic, I got this unsolicited photoshop version back which is absolutely [chefskiss].
- My latest tattoo is finally ready to make its debut! The negative space piece is the most design-intensive piece @dotstolines.bsky.social and I have worked on together, and this is just part 1. I can’t wait to see her in her final form, and for now I absolutely love her just the way she is.
- Last night TinyHuman™ came up to hug me. I thought to myself "awww yeah, such a good human, coming to give their parent some love after a long day" No, no, they were just excited I got them their favourite oat milk creamer that they saw in the fridge and the hug was my thank you.
- Don't get me wrong, I'll take it, I was just under false pretenses as to why I earned it. 🤣
- Throw back to that time 9 years ago when @tiny-human.bsky.social was unintentionally hilarious.
- dear recruiters: for the love of all that is worthwhile do not do this how absolute dare My name is right there for you to ctrl+c, ctrl+v I paid good money for this name. You will use every. single. letter.
- A year ago we hosted a butter party. In case anyone is wondering: a butter tasting party is a GREAT idea. Highly recommend getting together with several friends, grabbing some fancy butters, making some butter conveyance vehicles, and figuring out which are your favourites.
- And as quickly as he came into our lives, so, too, swiftly he left... Off you pop, Cinder. Go find Mercutio, he'll show you around. 🐾
- Sneak peek!
- Reposted by JenneviereYes I am paying attention. Yes I am scared. But right now, I’m choosing joy. I’ll freak out later.
- Today I went to my happy place (the cheese counter) and discovered that there's a thing called White Stilton with Apricot and this little cheese-based life form is SO HAPPY RIGHT NOW. It has been added to my current Emotional Support Cheese™ stash. #EmotionalSupportCheese
- For anyone curious about Emotional Support Cheese™: whenever I travel one of the first things I do is find a grocery and buy a few small kinds of cheese and some crackers. This way, no matter the hotel restaurant situation, I am assured of calories when I need them. 🧀
- (calories when I need them is because, in tandem, I both have a tiny little bird stomach and can't eat a ton at once *and* am hypoglycemic, so when my blood sugar drops things get... wonky. On-demand cheese to the rescue!)
- I've officially re-started (again) #HouseOfLeaves by Mark Z Danielewski. The first time I read this book I, as a young adult, became scared of the dark for 6 months. I'm excited and terrified. #HoL
- Throw back to that time I went bowling with my sleeping baby on my back (and wore a colour other than black), ~17 years and a fafillion lifetimes ago.
