Marinearsenal Warnowwerft only still exists today because German govt bought it 2022 (strategic infrastructure reasons) and saved it from bankruptcy. And now 🇩🇪 not only saved €22 mil on Rhein's refurb but in 2026 it's also overhauling a corvette and working on a big task-group sustainment ship there
