- Really excited to at this event today organised by @salawatson.bsky.social what an incredible line up of speakers. Great to have a day focusing on my two big passions ✨play✨ and ✨mobility✨
- This is a brilliant article- read and share 😊 I’ve had the privilege of working with ATE superweeks for over 20 years and have seen the power of allowing children independence; giving them space to be themselves away from pressures of day to day life; and play! www.theguardian.com/society/2025...

- Worcester! Kidical mass this Sunday 🥳 family friendly bike ride to make noise for space for the next generation. All welcome. Music, bubbles, good vibes. Starting at Cafe Viaduct and ending up in Gheluvelt Park, hopefully for a coffee or ice cream at newly opened Kyndfolk
- So thrilled to be here at the Start with Children summit thanks to @bikebusworld.bsky.social so looking forward to 2 days of thinking, learning, planning, plotting about what we can do to build cities that work for children #startwithchildren
- This weekend Rob is running the London marathon for RNLI, who were so amazing when his dad was lost at sea during a kayak race. He’s raising money for them in his dad’s memory 2025tcslondonmarathon.enthuse.com/pf/rob-colli...
- Reflections on the Global Bike Bus summit 2025: 1) It was energising being in the same space as so many inspiring, kind and positive change makers. 2) Children’s voices need to be front and centre when it comes to active travel and urban design. How we allow them to move matters.
- This week in Worcester we are hosting the Global Bike Bus summit- CAN YOU BELIEVE THAT?! (especially givenWorcestershire’s track record for active travel, perhaps in spite of😒). So EXCITED
- Check out our short video about Worcester’s Kidical Mass today. Despite grim weather, it was BRILLIANT. There’s so many people who want to re-imagine how our cities look, and who think the way we’ve designed out independently mobility for young people is so wrong. #kidicalmass #bikeworcester
- I just think it’s important we don’t leave young people out of the conversation about local government reorganisation and how the future of local democracy looks when it’s *their* future too

- On Saturday Niki and I delivered a presentation on social pedagogy and community engagement at the Department of Children and Families conference at Worcester University. We discussed the rights of children, play and children’s place in public spaces…1/3
- Really enjoyed @activetravelcaf.bsky.social this evening, listening to Jenny Rutherford discuss play sufficiency and what that looks like in Leeds. Shows what a strategic vision, political will and a lot of energy can do for children and young people
- Oh Worcester, that was SUCH a good kidical mass 😭😭😭 so many ace people; great decorations and a brilliant ride around the city.
- Worcester people- we’re getting super excited for our festive kidical mass on Saturday 21st December. Join us for a family friendly group ride with music, a few cycling santas and ending up somewhere with some hot chocolate hopefully #kidicalmass #bikeworcester

- I’m hoping it’s easy to make a thread here because it’s time for my first rant…I’m so tired of how difficult it is to choose to use a bike as a mode of transport here in Worcester. This week has featured so many close passes, plus having abuse shouted at me for no reason other than existing…
