- I think WEAPONS will be a hit in Japan and possibly Korea, because they’re already primed for this kind of intimate apocalyptic horror of the irrational. The societal anxiety of insane, malicious evil exploding the stability of the community is a common theme in Japanese and Korean pop fiction.

- Every plot turn in PARADISE hinges on someone saying to Sterling K. Brown, “I gotta tell you something, but let’s wait till tomorrow” and then they get killed before they do. It’s deeply annoying because it’s a lazy way to prolong the plot because they could just fucking tell him right there.
