- I think our egos compel us to try and be front of the line, the loudest voice, the biggest visual: over time, you realize how you can accomplish all of that by being part of the tapestry rather than its dominant element
- this speaks to something we often overlook about ourselves: there is beauty in filling the gaps, connecting what's already there. You don't need to force yourself to be the star/main character, or anywhere close: let your presence be felt, your impact noted through how you coalesce what's around you
