- Keane playing up top alongside Barry? 😉💙🤍💙 #EFC
- We start ok. Then we go downhill and then just lose our way when we concede a goal. The half time substitutes were good, and necessary, changes. That support in the second half must’ve been felt by every player on the field. A change from a lot of negativity. #EFC
- When your daughter makes you feel old whilst also doing something that makes you happy and strangely proud. Sadly, no button ‘A’ or ‘B’ to push, apparently, but still has a dial. Kids, worth 50 pence to surprise a parent.

- Brilliant save from Jordan Pickford btw. Will never get bored with that! #EFC
- Getting boring now… No, not really!!! Credit to an #Everton where every player tries their best (and will always have David Moyes telling them they need to do more). Games like that show that. Please try to give credit & support to every #EFC who wears the shirt. They’ll likely thrive if we do.
- I can’t believe that I’ve watched an #Everton away wins tonight and really *enjoyed* the performance! Always felt we looked like we knew our business, everyone understood they had to be on it all game and some key players were immense: central defenders, central midfield and GK especially good.
- Weird follow from an account posting gibberish. Blocked
- Darren Fletcher, ManUre’s interimmer, in a tactical dilemma during that defeat. If he brought on one of his twin sons, the other would be able to say his brother is “dad’s favourite”. Fletcher the TNT commentator doesn’t know Macclesfield play at Moss ROSE, not Moss Road.
- What?!??!

- So, this may be the after effects of an FA Cup defeat but an Everton team playing at home in a new “4th Kit” hints at the possibility of an ownership who might be in it more to make money from a string fan base than a desire to build a competitive side capable of winning trophies.
- Two good pubs & some good beer & food. Sandwiched in the middle was another disappointment from #Everton. Wolves fans in town all amiable, enjoying their point but accepting that it won’t be enough to keep them up and worried about their awful owners. Wish them well. But we should’ve stuffed them.
- That was dreadful

- My dad had a pee in the next ‘stall’ to Mick Jagger at a cricket test match at Trent Bridge in Nottingham
- Well, England won a #cricket match in Australia and under pressure because of Graeme Swann’s comments, I watched as much as I could overnight. So, probably not the best circumstances to give intelligent analysis of performances etc. Hollow victory in terms of the Ashes, but a victory.

- Disappointing result last night. 8pm kick offs are a hard slog. Good to see the club responded to the pathetic poverty chants by our opponents with the ‘Fans Support Food Banks’ messages on the electronic scoreboards. Maybe Arsenal could send a message to some of their fan groups as well.
- We created chances right until the end. Didn’t take them. That’s not the sole reason we lost but it’s also not the manager’s fault. We were a bit lucky they didn’t take all the chances they had (several gifts from us). Disappointment at a 2-0 defeat in that context is the sign of some progress #EFC

- Reposted by Bryn HammondI'm a late convert to test cricket but now absolutely love it. I think it's one of the very few things in life comparable to a novel - with different acts, a specific setting, character arcs that rise and fall, the beginning may end up being nothing like the end #Ashes2025
- Super Jack gets the goals he deserves. Nice comments about Moyes #EFC
- Reposted by Bryn HammondElon Musk’s charitable foundation grew larger than ever in 2024. But, for the fourth year in a row, the huge charity failed to give away the minimum amount required by law — and the donations it did make went largely to charities closely tied to Musk himself, who is the world's richest man.
- It’s so much like #Everton to take the pride and pleasure of a brilliant win at ManU and trash it with a game like last night. Unusually, I’m not blaming anyone who left early yesterday. I was there till the end with all hope gone because you have to suffer the awfulness to enjoy the good times.

- Also, if that lad who was our mascot is your kid, you should be extra proud of him tonight. That fist clench before the game was the spirit we need! #EFC #Evertonian
- Strange there’s little nostalgia outside France for these glasses. At my very ordinary village primary school, we had these glasses for our water with school dinner. We used to have competitions about who had the highest number on the bottom of their glass. www.theguardian.com/world/2025/n...

- Posting the day after the #EFC game is going to be my ‘thing’ I think. Yesterday turned on half time changes. But not just the game. The day. So much ‘new routine’ before. A poor performance against v good side. Then to a different level. Passion lead to belief. Crowd reaction to effort=*Support* 1/
