- Ice Apprentices by Jacob North is an icy adventure that I am glad I got to share. The magical world is deeply immersive, the plot action packed and so edge of your seat that parts of it was read to a lump hiding under the duvet! We need more from this series! #KidLitUK

- I am enjoying the linguistic angle of this YA fantasy: A Language of Dragons by S.F. Williamson. Multiple spoken dragon languages layered with different dialects and a secret dragon language at a frequency undetectable to human ears. Be still my nerdy heart!
- Really enjoyed the final book in The Spectacular trilogy, Battle of the Stars, by Jodie Garnish. Combining a magical fantasy world with the theatre was always going to pique our interest. This book was exciting and kept us guessing, ending the series on a high. #KidLitUK
