- Labour is putting money back into #Preston with a £10.1m boost for local services and an extra £310 million for Lancashire over the next five years. This is a huge 38% increase for Preston City Council and 27% increase for Lancashire County Council, one of the largest settlements in the country.

- I'm pleased our Govt has introduced laws to tackle Violence Against Women and Girls, including: removing automatic parental access from perpetrators; restricting parental rights for rapists whose children were born through rape and criminalising pornography that depicts strangulation/suffocation.
- 2025 marks the 80th Anniversary of the end of WW2. A tribute has been planted in the Constituency Garden of Remembrance for all those from #Preston who have lost lives in conflicts around the world. We remember their sacrifice and those who serve, defend and protect our freedoms and way of life.
