- Petesy Burns played with Stalag 17 and loads of other Belfast punk acts. He was a much-loved enabler, a seeker of alternatives, ultimately steering for kindness. We lost him on New Year’s Day, RIP. - I've written about Eamon Melaugh, the civil rights activist from Derry, 1933-2025. He was a voice on Radio Free Derry, a pirate station in 1969, notably during the Battle of the Bogside.
