Can Starmer survive this one?
They say a week's a long time in politics, but I wonder if Labour's NEC members who so enthusiastically blocked Andy Burnham's possible route back to Parliament are suffering a tinge of regret now.

If he wasn't seen as a credible alternative, they wouldn't have felt the need to block him.
He's a disruptor. He was a fairly crp minister and a disloyal shadow. Promised to see out term as mayor out but changed his mind as soon as he smelt blood. Grim.
