- What's the point of a disappointingly unambitious compromise of a Labour government if it doesn't do the easy and obvious things the Tories wouldn't do for ideological reasons.

- If you have randomly connected with me because I was on a list of poets, you should definitely check whether I ought to be on a list of poets. Here's how.

- Poetry can take you to wonderful places. Last night it took me to Fire & Dust in Coventry in the beautiful Priory Visitors Centre. This morning it is taking me home via Birmingham Coach Station where I have just had to spend 40p to piss.

- I'm bringing Life Expectancy Begins to Fall to the wonderful Fire & Dust in Coventry on 3rd April. The future looks terrible but if you are hopeful about our ability to be decent to each other through the peri-apocalypse and appreciate gallows humour you might enjoy this. Personally, I can't wait.

- I love performing but hate reading to camera. So I asked the brilliant @macromarius.bsky.social to make a poetry film of the title poem of my new collection without including my face. I am incredibly proud of it and it's not even my work.

- I read this and now this is exactly what I think.
- It's been a couple of years since we had one of those broadsheet articles saying 'poetry is dead except for these exciting new poets who are the opposite of all the other poets you don't know but would still hate' A massive thank you to every journalist who has not written one of those pieces.

- Huge thanks to @macromarius.bsky.social for this wonderful poetry film featuring the title sequence from *ahem* my forthcoming book. I love the way the poems are transformed when paired with sound and images.

- This is my book of poems about living in the shadow of the omni-apocalypse. It's not a survival guide or a call to arms. It's the catastrophe on your feed against the mundane rhythm of life. It's absurdity, powerlessness and bad coping strategies. Huge thanks to @ninearchespress.bsky.social

- I wrote a book of poems about living in the shadow of the omni-apocalypse. It's not a call to action or a survival guide. It's about living with foreboding and denial. I am very proud of it. Huge thanks to @ninearchespress.bsky.social for allowing me to share it with the world.
