- It's why conservatives so bitterly rejected the concept of structural racism. They didn't want an excuse for having been racist, they wanted being racist to be socially accepted.

- I'd prefer putting him in a Magneto-style perspex cage, with school tours filing through for an object lesson in the dangers of being an evil prick. For each tour group, if he can pretend to be remorseful convincingly enough he gets a cookie, but not one he likes.
- Pet peeve: when people use a.k.a. (also known as) when they ought to use i.e. (id est, that is) or e.g. (exempli gratia, for example). Right up there with using 'who' for organizations.
