Well, talk about a contrast between the Wellington Phoenix women's and men's teams!

Huh. Autocorrect tried to change Poirurua to Peoria!

Another interesting entry in my Steam recommendations queue - MATH FPS : Solve Or Die, an FPS where you need to shoot the location of the target with the answer to the maths question above. At only NZ$7.39, might give it a go just for a laugh!

Tough decision but, on balance, Howay the Toon!
Disappointed with Arsenal's performance: no set piece or own goals!
Just finished watching The Sentinels/Les Sentinels on TVNZ On Demand - essentially a French supersoldier programme in WWI. Really rather enjoyed that - there'd better be a second season!
I have questions.
It's not often I say this but thank you Tottenham and Brentford!
Arsenal are clearly stepping up their game: scoring from a combined set piece/own goal!
Wow. Nine years ago today, I arrived in New Zealand for the first time, landing in Auckland, on a fact-finding trip. Took another 2.5 years or to make the permanent move!
At Sky Stadium with
@aeshna.bsky.social to see Wellington Phoenix in a six-pointer with Melbourne City.
Think I'll stick with the Kindle edition!
I must admit I was genuinely shocked by the news of Braverman's defection to Reform. I assumed she'd done it ages ago!

The MP was unveiled as Reform's latest recruit by leader Nigel Farage at a rally, bringing the number of the party's sitting MPs to eight.
Here to say adieu/vaarwel to the Leuven :-(
I'm finding the Epic Rap Battles of History YouTube channel strangely compelling (Charlemagne vs Napoleon, Che Guevara vs Guy Fawkes, Bond vs Austin Powers etc)!

About to have some Jobbie for breakfast.
Tonight's TV c/o TVNZ On Demand: one episode each of Blue Murder Motel - definite Brokenwood Mysteries vibes from this, and The Sentinels - kind of Captain France, set in World War 1. Will be exploring both further.
Belated thanks to David Moyes and Everton!
Pains me to say this but today would be a good day for Manchester United to not suck.
Judging from the photos and videos posted in the Whale and dolphin watch - Wellington Facebook group and in my Facebook feed, a pod of orcas decided today was a good day to flash the primates and mess with them!

Spotted at KMart yesterday. Why is it assumed only kids would want a dinosaur beach towel?!
Figured we'll already be knackered from jet lag anyway so been to Life Pharmacy in Johnsonville for our 26H1 COVD-19 jabs (10th (according to guy there).
Johnsonville Mall was never the biggest anyway but really is a stark contrast to the likes of Mid Valley or 1 Utama in KL!
