- The Washington Post was a huge part of my childhood. It was my hometown newspaper that gave me a window into the mechanics of this great city. I feel for everyone who’s lost, losing, or will lose their job because of one man’s greed and ego.
- Stories from film school: I always got crap because I was very adamant about not liking Woody Allen films. I think they are relatively inaccessible to a diverse audience. Also he’s a terrible human being.

- Tbh I have a lot of thoughts on the greater community as a whole but we don’t need to get into that. We see how people move.
- The inconsistency in the way fans of color are treated by The Spirit drives me crazy. There are people in the building who are proactively reaching out to us at Rose Room to engage and elevate the Black and POC communities in different ways. But clearly there’s a disconnect otherwise.
- I’m extremely disappointed in the team for not continuing this.
